Mertcan Kaya joined Koç & Okçuoğlu Attorneys at Law as a Legal Intern. He focuses on corporate and commercial law, contract law, M&A, intellectual property, and data protection.

Mertcan assists the team on corporate and commercial matters, including company formations, corporate governance processes, and commercial contracts. In intellectual property and media and entertainment, he provides support to the team on copyright matters, license agreements, production agreements, and content compliance processes. He also contributes to the firm's data protection practice, assisting clients on their compliance obligations under Turkish data protection legislation, including the preparation of data inventories, privacy policies, and data transfer structuring.
