Türkövün Koç graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 1977. He began his professional career in the public sector, serving as an inspector at the General Directorate of the Social Security Institution (SSK) from 1977 to 1983. In 1983, he joined İş Bankası as a "Training Specialist" and went on to hold various expert and managerial roles within the Credit Department, Fund Management Department, Securities Department, and several of the Bank’s affiliates.

He was among the founding executives of İş Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı A.Ş. (İş REIC) and served as its CEO for five years. He retired from İşbank Group in March 2004.

Following his departure from the İş Bank group, Türkövün Koç has continued to actively share his extensive expertise in banking, capital markets, and real estate investments. He has taken on management and consultancy roles within some of Turkey’s leading real estate companies, where he has contributed to corporate restructuring processes and held executive positions within their legal departments. He has also provided advisory services in the establishment of real estate investment trusts and on a wide range of capital markets-related matters. 

In addition, he has served as a court-appointed expert in labor law actuarial assessments and complex financial calculations in family law cases. Since 2023, he has been a registered mediator with the Mediation Department of the Ministry of Justice.

He has participated in numerous international conferences, seminars, and professional training programs. He is fluent in English and has an intermediate proficiency in French.
